Meeyamgi Numit held in Kpi, Kak districts

KANGPOKPI: The 9th District Hill Leaders' Day and Meeyamgi Numit was held on Friday at the Lhungtin Village community hall, Lhungtin sub-division, with 23 line departments catering to public grievance issues.
A total of 293 grievances including 213 from health, 20 from veterinary & animal husbandry, 25 from social welfare, 27 handloom & textiles and eight from forest were registered during the event.
Deputy commissioner Kengoo Zuringla welcomed the people and guided them to address their grievances and other issues to the department officials so that they got maximum help and assistance.
She inspected various stalls opened by the departments at the community hall ensuring smooth conduct of the event.
On the other hand, sub divisional officers, district level officers and staff of various departments listened to the queries/grievances of the general public during the event.
During the event various services were provided which also included vaccination programme related to health by the medical team led by CMO, including testing of malaria.
Cards related to various schemes were also distributed to the beneficiaries.
KAKCHING: The district administration of Kakching on Friday organised its 9th Meeyamgi Numit (People's Day) at the deputy commissioner's office complex.
Altogether 29 line departments opened their stalls for delivering public services and addressing public grievances during the day.
A total of 427 grievances/ applications were received as 223 people attended the event.
Deputy commissioner Somorjit Salam inspected the stalls and also distributed water pump sets and kharif vegetable seeds to the beneficiaries.
Under the PMKSY scheme, district officer of Horticulture & Soil Conservation, Thoubal/Ka-kching distributed water pump sets to 10 beneficiaries.
The same department also distributed kharif vegetable seeds to 10 selected beneficiaries under MIDH scheme.
District Social Welfare office, Kakching provided 101 services regarding MOAPS, 31 CMPS, 4 care giver and one CMHT.
Medical, Health & Family Welfare Department issued 18 new registrations under CMHT, received 80 application forms and also issued 28 CMHT cards.
DSO (CAF & PD) issued 10 new ration cards, added 30 family members to ration card registration and deleted 4 members from ration card scheme.
In all, 13 registrations of birth and three registrations of death were recorded by MAHUD, while the revenue department issued 40 income certificates, 30 birth orders, one residential certificate and one unmarried certificate.
District level officers on the spot organised facilitation centres for beneficiary oriented schemes.
