Local club extends help to victim protesters

Imphal, July 26 2015:
The Young Socio Cultural Union extended monetary aid to the bereaved family of late Sapam Robinhood and five other persons who were injured in police crackdowns during the ongoing protests demanding for implementation of Inner Line Permit System to safeguard the indigenous people of the State.
Mention may also be made that Late Sapam Robinhood, a class eleven student studying in Ananda Higher Secondary Academy died in police action on July 8 while he was protesting for implementation of ILPS.
Many protesters were also injured in the agitation and some of them are undergoing treatment at RIMS hospital while others are treated at home.
