CRPF conducts civic action programme

As a part of its continuous efforts to reach to the local populace with the aim to establish better relation between CRPF and public, 69 Bn, CRPF in Mantripukhri today organised Civic Action Programme (CAP) for the year 2020-21 under the aegis of Inspector General of Police (IGP), CRPF, M&N sector, at Youth Club cum Information Centre (YCCIC) hockey ground.
The inaugural function was presided by Ujjal Dutta, second-in-command, 69 Bn in the presence of distinguished guests, officers, SOs, jawans of 69 Bn, CRPF and the villagers of Kontha Ahallup.
CRPF distributed solar lamps to the needy villagers for their convenience.
Speaking at the function, Ujjal Dutta conveyed that CRPF is a true friend and the peace keeper of the Nation and will always be at its service whenever required.
He also said that CRPF will continue to serve the people of Manipur for their growth, development and prosperity and assured that more such programmes will be organised in the near future.
The programme was highly appreciated by the local people and they showed their spontaneous willingness to support CRPF to bring peace and normalcy in their area, said a statement issued by CRPF.
