Imphal, May 19 2020:
After detection of two more COVID-19 cases that raised the State tally of active positive cases to 7, a total of 199 persons were also tested for COVID-19 today.
63 samples were tested at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences while 136 were tested at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences and all were found to be negative for COVID-19, said a report from COVID-19 Common Control Room.
With 2,743 samples tested so far, the positivity rate is at 0.32 percent which is a strong indication that there is no community transmission, said the report.
