District Level Science Exhibition & Book Fair begins

District Level Science Exhibition and Book Fair organised by the District Level Committee, Rastriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA), Thoubal has kicked off from Wednesday at DC,office Counting Hall, Thoubal with T.Ranjit, IAS Deputy Commissioner, Thoubal District as Chief Guest.
Kh Amuba Singh,Zonal Education Officer,Thoubal, Nandakumar, MCS,Deputy Secretary, Education (S) & E/O,ASPD, RMSA, Manipur and Y Laksman Singh, District Youth Co-ordinator ,NYK, Thoubal attended aspresident and guest of honours respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, T Ranjit said that science exhibition is a common platform for the students where they can share their science models.
Such interaction and platform is a way to motivate the enthusiastic students in the field of science and technology.

Giving descrip-tion about their models to the visitors also increases the communication skills of the students and help them in their career.
He further said that information technology is advancing at a rapid pace in today's world.
Internet has now become a major part of education as students can find information they want over the internet.
Students should do extensive research and studies in order to produce more effective and advanced science models.
Students from different schools of the District are participating in the exhibition, exhibiting more than 20 science models.
The exhibition would go on till March 20 .
Debate Compitition will be held as a part of the exhibition and Quiz competitions on science and technology was also held as a part of the exhibition.
The Five students were also selected for the final round of Writen Quize competition.the selected students are 1st-Kh.Ranjan and Kh.Sanathoi of New Public Higher Sec.
School, 2nd � Ak Robinson and Loya Naorem of Peace and Freedom Academy, 3rd-N Rakesh and S.Hemjit of KM Blooming Higher Sec.
School, 4rd-Kh.Robinson and M Ashokumar of New Public Higher Sec.
School, and 5th-Md.Dawud and Md.Ajmir of Ananda Purna School.They have to report for final round on tomorrow at 11 am at DC office counting hall.
