16th Education Fair commences
The fair will give huge benefit to students: Edn Minister

Imphal, June 17 2022:
A three-day 16th Education fair, which is being organised by NEEC Education Services, commenced from Friday at City Convention Centre, Palace Gate here.
The inaugural function was attended by education minister Thounaojam Basanta as chief guest and Social Welfare director Ngangom Uttam as guest of honour while Millennium Institute of Sciences principal W Zenith and Maria Montessori School principal P Suchitra were present as special guests.
Speaking at the function, minister Th Basanta stressed the need of a good leader in a democratic country.
India is progressing towards development because of the presence of good leaders.
With the newly launched scheme of 'Agnipath' by Prime Minister, students can avail four years' training in armed forces after completing Class X.Under the scheme, interested candidates will also be priority in joining police, military or other related sector in future, he maintained.
While pointing out that Manipur has many talented people and is not inferior when compared with other states, Basanta said that students should take the opportunity of the fair by consulting without fear with the different institutes participating in the fair.
He continued that the fair will provide huge opportunities to the students, who are the future pillars of the nation.
Organising such fair is a blessing for the students, the minister added.
The fair is being sponsored by ML Career, Hao-bam Marak Keisam Leikai; Graphic Era, Dehradun and Achariya, Bengaluru.
Around 33 stalls of different educational institution are taking part in the fair.
