Jamkholal said that an unknown person came at the relief camp and enquired about his whereabouts on May 27 .
As Jamkholal was not there when he came at the relief camp, the unknown person left a message for him to the inmates of the camp to come at the designated camp of KLA/KLO located at Zamnomphai and withdraw the case.
According to the inmates, the man told them that he was sent by the commander-in-chief of KLA (Touthang), Jamkholal said.
Again on May 29, another unknown person, who identified himself as the finance secretary of the outfit, enquired Jamkholal why he did not turn up at their camp.
He responded to the man that he could not come to their camp as he had not received any letter from the outfit and being an Ex-Serviceman, it is not proper for hm to visit the camp of UGs.
After two days, one of his uncles was picked up by the cadres of the outfit and took him to their designated camp.
However, they freed his uncle after telling him to bring Jamkholal at their camp within June 9 and also to withdraw the case or face capital punishment.
After two days, worried Jamkholal's uncle came to his place and narrated the whole story to Jamkholal.
However, Jamkholal did not comply with the diktat but attended the hearing of the case at the Court of CJM Churachandpur on June 10, wherein next hearing was fixed on June 24 .
On June 11, Jamkholal received a massage from an unknown number threatening him to withdraw the case.
On July 11, Jamkholal was rounded up by some youths, who came with the man, who had identified himself as the finance secretary of KNA/KLA in their earlier meeting, from the gate of JMIC Churachandpur.
The youths, who came on three bikes, forcefully put Jamkholal inside a four-wheeler vehicle and took him to their designated camp located at Zamnomphai.
Jamkholal said that a man, suspected to be a leader of the outfit, took his signatures of withdrawing the land dispute case, under duress.
Apart from threatening Jamkholal not to go to the Court for the said case again, the man also told him that they do not count Court's decree but take their decisions on their own.
It may be mentioned that Jamkholal is fighting the land dispute case with one Lalkholal alias Lalboi (36) s/o Jamkholoy Lheundin of Dampi village.
KLA/KLO freed Jamkholal on July 13 after threatening him not to file any case against Lalboi.
They cautioned Jamkholal that his life would not be sparred if he or any of their family members try to move the Court against Lalboi in future.
In view of all these threats, Jamkholal urged the authority concerned to shift the case to an Imphal Court for security reasons.
He also appealed to the Government to look into the matter of violating the ground rules of SoO by KLA/KLO.
