Bridges inspected

Beginning from the 12th of this month, a team led by the Indian Ambassador to Myanmar Saurabh Kumar, inspected the 69 bridges which are being built by India in Myanmar.
According to a reliable source, Ambassador Saurabh Kumar arrived at Mandalay on March 12 from Yangon and after an interactive session at Mandalay, headed to Monywa Women and Children Hospital on March 13 (yesterday) .
He then arrived at Kale today and inspected the 69 bridges, which are being built along the trilateral highway passing Tamu-Kyigone-Kalewa, till the Indo-Myanmar border area.
The Indian Ambassador to Myanmar was also accompanied by First Secretary to the Ambassador, Muthukumarasamy and other officials.
The source continued that as the inspection team reached the Indo-Myanmar friendship bridge, they were accorded a warm welcome by officers of 43 Assam Rifles posted at Moreh, 26 AR officers and Manager of Integrated Check Post.
After the interaction, the inspection team returned to Myanmar from the Indo-Myanmar friendship bridge, the source added.
