Domestic help thrashed severely by employer

Imphal, August 13 2013:
Unable to bear the torture of the employer and his family members, a young boy employed as a domestic help escaped from the employers' house and took refuge at the office of WAL United Club.
The young boy has been identified as Ramkumar Subedi (17) of Kalapahar.
He was employed by one Irom Loken of Wangkhei Angom Leikai.
According to the victim, he was beaten up black and blue by Loken and his family members over loss of an ATM Card from the house on Saturday last.
He was kept confined in the house and beaten up repeatedly on charge stealing the ATM Card.
However, he escaped from the house and took shelter at the office of WAL United Club.
Later, the volunteers of WAL United Club handed the young boy to Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of Imphal East.
