Two UG-child recruiters in police net

Imphal, February 13 2013:
Two cadres of PREPAK (Pro) cadres who are allegedly involved in luring two kids namely Longjam Ranjit (13) and Soibam Surjakanta (12) to join the underground group on November 28 and 29 last year have arrested by Patsoi Police.
One of the cadres has been sent to jail while the other has been remanded to police custody for four days.
According to police report, the two UG cadres are identified as Yumnam Jemy (22), s/o Y Arun of Lamshang Haorang Sabal and Khoirom Tokyo (22), s/o Kh Budhi of Tharoijam Maning Leikai.
Kh Tokyo was produced before the CJM Imphal West after being apprehended by Patsoi Police some ten days back.
Subsequently, he has been send to the jail.
Y Jemy was also arrested by Patsoi Police yesterday at around 5:30 pm and produced before the CJM Court today which remanded him to police custody for four days.
The report further informed that both the cadres have admitted to kidnapping the two students and sending them to Myanmar.
They were given Rs 5000 each for the job.
