Home Guards express gratitude

Home Guard Employees Welfare Association expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and other concerned departments for their co-operation and support in finally providing the long pending pay revision of Home Guards.
Y Mangi Singh, president, Home Guard Employees Welfare Association, said this today at a press conference held at Manipur Press Club and said the association had been demanding pay revision for the last year and finally under the initiative of Chief Minister N Biren Singh and aided by other concerned departments, all the personals of Home Guard have received Rs 1,09,000/- as arrear for 10 months and assurance to provide updated salary of Rs 18,689/- from December, 2021 has also been made.
He added that the association is confident that other welfare schemes for Home Guards will also be fulfilled accordingly by the current government under the leadership of CM N Biren Singh.
