Imphal, June 07 2020:
Being concerned with the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the State and decrying the loopholes in the management of returnees and quarantine centres, All India Tanzeem-E-Insaaf (AITI), Manipur State Council has drawn attention of the State Government to take up few measures seriously for the safety of all.
AITI, in a statement, urged the Government to conduct continuous sanitization drives at the quarantine centres and localities where the centres are set up.
AITI also urged to make sure all quarantine inmates get tested before their discharge.
Make sure officials concerned visit quarantine centres regularly to look after the requirements of the centres and quarantined inmates, said AITI while demanding to allot medical teams without fail for regular and routine check up of the health status of the inmates.
Let all concerned MLAs do their parts as assigned, the statement added.
