Imphal, January 31 2010:
Three days residential camp of the Sugunu Kendra Committee of MPP concluded today at Kakching Khunou.
MPP general secretary, Y Khemchand, former MLA A Sobakiran, secretary Binod and film actress Saikhom Kamala talked at the concluding function.
Speakers said that it is not a new one that Centre always neglected the state.
The state is in a conflict situation.
Political leaders from the Centre and top brasses of the Army had always mentioned that the prevailing conflict situation cannot be bring to an end by means of armed but through political dialogue.
But they never turn into action.
Instead of converting into work, Centre is increasing number of security forces deploy in the state.
In this context, there is a thorough analysis to the view of the Central government towards the state.
Congress is ruling in the state for second consecutive term but the veteran Congress MP, Rishang who was also chief minister of state for several times is not given ministerial berth in the Congress government at the Centre.
The attitude is need to be discussed.
In order to save the state from backing behind, there is the need of building up a regional plaform in the state.
This is what MPP is trying, they said.
