Sunil Meitei, the leader of a faction of the proscribed KCPMTF, who was arrested by a combined team of Delhi police, Karnataka police and 16 Maratha Light Infantry from a place in Bangalore on the night of June 29, has been brought to Imphal today.
A team of Bishnupur district police led by its SDPO Hopeson brought Sunil Meitei from Delhi today.
After arrival at Tulihal Airport, Sunil Meitei has been taken directly to the Bishnupur district police headquarters.
Sunil Meitei is wanted in many cases related to extortion from public and Government officials, abduction of elected members of Gram Panchayat and killings in Bishnupur and Imphal West district.
He was arrested by a combined security team of Delhi police, Karnataka police and 16 Maratha Light Infantry personnel from Ejipura in Bangalore on the night of June 29 last.

Around 38 years of age, Sunil Meitei is also known by other names like Chirom Premkumar alias Prem alias Tiken.
He hails from Waheng Khuman Mamang Leikai, Bishnupur district.
At the time of his arrest, the combined security team recovered one laptop, two mobile handsets, eleven SIM cards and other incriminating documents related to the proscribed outfit from the possession of Sunil Meitei.
