After the final hearing of the disqualification petition filed against Trinamool Congress Legislature wing leader Dr I Ibohalbi was conducted today, the Manipur Legislative Assembly Speaker's Tribunal has reserved the judgement.
The disqualification petition was filed by former Lok Sabha MP and ex-president of Trinamool Congress Manipur unit Kim Gangte on the charge of working against the party.
Final hearing for similar disqualification petitions filed against Trinamool Congress MLAs Kh Joykisan, Th Bishwajit and O Lukhoi was already conducted by the tribunal and the judgement was kept reserved.
The tribunal would hear the disqualification petition filed against five MSCP MLAs in connection with their merger with INC on November 25 .
However, the disqualification petition filed against Lok Janashakti Party (LJP)'s lone MLA Karam Shyam is still pending at the tribunal.
