Assam Manipuri urges Manipur CM to Concerns over NRC

The Assam Indigenous People's Protection Committee (AIPPC) demanded for re-verification on various problems of NRC in Barak Valley , the southernmost part of Assam.
In a memorandum submitted this Friday to NRC coordinator Pratik Hazela, a delegation of AIPPC mentioned that maximum numbers of Indigenous people's are dropped out from final NRC draft list.
Thus, the organization urged to include the Indigenous people's in the final draft list of NRC.
After submitting the memorandum , the AIPCC members, also emphasized in a press conference that held this Friday at Guwahati Press club that they also urged the NRC coordinator to comduct re-varification of the NRC on the basis of Applications Receipt numbers as AIPPC suspected that a large number of illegal immigrants are included in NRC final draft list in Cachar district of Assam.
In a memoranda they also mentioned that in the Cachar district of Assam the NRC list of 1951 is not available in the administrative district of Cachar.
Thus they urged the Pratik Hazela, who is a NRC chief to make available of NRC list of 1951 of Cachar districts.
The delegation team of AIPPC was consist of 6 members including Seram Herajit , Ashique Uddin, Ahmed Hassan Choudhury, Manmohan Barman, Moni Rajbangshi and Tamij Uddin etc.
It can also be mentioned that, in a said press conference, Seram Herajit Singh and Ahmed Hassan Choudhury, both the presidents of Manipuri Youths Front, Assam,MYFA and Assam Manipuri Muslim Youths Associations urged the Manipur Chief Minister Nongthombam Biren to concerns for native Manipuri and Manipuri Muslims of Assam over NRC issue.
In their words, they said "Manipur CM should talk with Assam CM and ask him to concerns about Manipuri speaking people's of Assam as we are indigenous community in the state" .
Both the Manipuri leaders were also urged the Manipur CM to extend help from government in the matter of document verifications that may sent to Manipur for those Manipuri speaking NRC Applicants who married from Manipur to Assam.
