Imphal, February 10 2017:
BJP will fight the 11th Manipur Legislative Assembly election with the primary objective of booting out the Congress Government and establish a clean, corruption free Government in the State, stated BJP Manipur Pradesh general secretary (administration) Th Biswajit.
A flag hoisting ceremony of BJP candidate in Heingang AC and former Minister N Biren was held today at his Luwangshangbam Mamang Leikai residence under the aegis of BJP Heingang Mandal.
Speaking at the gathering, Biswajit claimed that no party other than BJP can bring positive changes in India and Manipur.
To defeat Congress party and provide clean, transparent governance to the people of Manipur is the primary objective of BJP, said the lone BJP MLA.

Talking about the creation of seven new districts, the BJP legislator maintained that BJP has no grudge against any public welfare programme taken up by the Government.
What BJP want is to announce the new districts after reaching a consensus without causing hardships to the people, added the MLA.
Referring to the State Government's claim that the new districts were created for administrative convenience, Biswajit asked whether the Government was able to make the benefits of the new districts accessible to public and whether the DCs and the SPs of the new districts are able to function in full fledged manner.
He went on to ask whether adequate infrastructure have been developed for the new districts.
BJP Manipur in-charge Prahlad Singh Patel claimed that BJP would make Manipur a blockade-free State apart from paying extra attention towards rapid development of the State provided BJP is elected to power.
Claiming that the Congress Government created a plethora of issues and problems during the past 15 years thereby causing untold misery to all the people, Prahlad Singh Patel called upon womenfolk of the State to shoulder pro-active roles so as to topple the corrupt Congress Government.
N Biren said that the 15 years old monarchy like rule never listened to the grievances of the masses as they were busy in personal and family aggrandisement through contract works.
He then appealed to all the people to understand the Congress party's politics of driving wedges between hill people and plain people which is only aimed at winning the election.
Asking whether necessary fund has been incorporated for the seven new districts in the State budget or adequate infrastructure have been developed for the newly created districts, Biren asserted that creation of new districts at the time of election was nothing but a political gimmick aimed at scoring political mileage.
The Framework Agreement signed between the Government of India and NSCN-IM has nothing to do with Manipur.
BJP Central leaders have assured repeatedly that not an inch of Manipur's territory would be affected by the Framework Agreement, he added.
It is unbecoming of a Chief Minister to appeal to the Prime Minister to divulge the details of the Framework Agreement.
As the Chief Minister, he should instead demand the Central leaders to disclose the details, Biren said.
Reacting to Chief Minister O Ibobi's insistence to pass a Bill in Parliament for establishment of National Sports University in Manipur, Biren asked as to how a Bill can be passed when Yaithibi Loukon allotted for establishment of National Sports University is embroiled in controversy after the land ownership deeds were registered in the name of the Chief Minister's family and some MLAs.
Saying that BJP would fight the election against ruling Congress party in the most befitting manner, Biren asserted that it is time for the people to take a concrete decision collectively.
