Night curfew

Imphal, September 06 2021:
The Home Department has issued an order regarding the restrictions imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19 and reduced the duration of night curfew by 2 hours.
According to the new order, the night curfew will now be effective from 7 pm to 4 am for a period of 15 days with effect from September 7 .
Various activities have also been permitted in addition to the activities already mentioned in the order of August 21 to resume business in the fresh order.
Opening of vehicles showrooms and servicing centres of vehicles from 8 am to 5 pm; shopping malls from 10 am to 4 pm subject to limiting the number of customers inside the mall and strict observance of Covid appropriate behavior; gymnasiums/fitness centres from 5 am to 10 am with strict observance of Covid appropriate behavior have been allowed by the new order.
Opening of brick kilns, stone crushers and furniture manufacturing units with strict observance of Covid appropriate behavior have also been permitted.
