Jairam Thakur sworn-in as Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh

Mr Jairam Thakur has been sworn-in as the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.
Governor Acharya Dev Vrat administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr Thakur and 1 1 other Ministers at the Ridge ground in Shimla today .
The Ministers, who took oath, include Mahendra Singh, Suresh Bhardwaj, Anil Sharma and V ipin Singh Parmar .
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah and many other senior party leaders and Union Ministers attended the swearing-in ceremony .
Mr Thakur , a five-time MLA from Seraj in Mandi, was elected the leader of the BJP legislature par ty on Sunday .
The party had wrested power from the Congress in the state by winning 44 of the 68 Assembly seats.
AIR correspondent reports, as Prime Minister Narendera Modi reached at Ridge ground of Shimla around 11:30 A.M., the oath ceremony started.
Governor Acharya Devvrat first of all sworn in the oath ceremony to Jairam Thakur as new chief minister of the state.
After that senior leader and former minister Mahinder Singh Th akur , Kishan Kapoor from Dharamshala, Suresh Bhardwaj from Shimla, Anil Sharma from Mandi, Sarveen Chaudhari from Shahpur , Ramlal Markanda from Lahaul, Vipin Singh Parmar fr om Sulah, Virender Singh fr om Kutlahar , V ikram Singh from Jaswan Pragpur , Govind Singh from Manali, Rajeev Sehjal from Kasauli sworn in as minister 's of new cabinet.
Suresh Bhardwaj, Virender Kanwar , Vipin Singh Parmar , Govind Singh & Rajeev Sehjal become cabinet minister for the first time.
After the oath taking ceremoney Prime Minister Narendera Modi, National President Amit Shah & Governor Acharya Devvrat congratulate all the cabinet minister along with Chief Minister .
