Imphal, September 26 2011:
The proscribed RPF has rejected the charge of Imphal West SSP L Kailun that RPF/PLA cadres were involved in the killing of non-local labourers.
Alleging that the SSP's claim was fabricated, a press release issued by the outfit's Publicity Secretary T Leisemba contended that the outfit has not yet targeted any non-local people or launched any operation against them.
It further accused the security forces of levelling all sorts of charges against arrested civilians or insurgent by torturing them until they accept the fabricated charges.
Commenting on the senior's SP challenge to attack them in place of unarmed non-Manipuris, the outfit remarked that this statement only exposed the sinister design of the Govt of India and the Govt of Manipur to ignite a bloody internecine war.
However, RPF and PLA would continue to stick to its policy of not attacking Manipur Police who are largely people of the land.
It is crucial to understand the alleged design of the Govt of India to ignite an internecine war to completely exterminate the Manipuri nation, Leisemba added.
