CM urged to trace husband

Claiming that whereabouts of her husband remains unknown after arrest by troops of Assam Rifles manning Khudengthabi check-post on July 23, along with two others, one Sarungbam Thoibi Devi has urged the Chief Minister to do the needful.
In a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister, Thoibi Devi said her 37-year old husband namely S Bobo Singh s/o Samu Singh of Karam under Wangoi police station along with Jackson maring of Machi Konaithong in Chandel and Laishram Herojit Singh of Utlou Awang Leikai were arrested by the AR troops at around 10 am of July 23 .
From the day of arrest till date they were neither handed over to the police nor are the family members informed on the trio's whereabouts, Thoibi said in her complaint to the CM while adding that as cases of alleged extra-judicial/fake encounter killings had been reported the family members are gripped with fear and anxiety.
Detailing distressful situation she and her family had been enduring, Thoibi urged the CM to let members of the families know whereabouts of the three persons and to hand them over to the police station concerned without delay in the name of fair justice.
Copies of the memorandum addressed to the CM has also been handed over to the Governor of Manipur, Langthabal AC MLA O Joy Singh, Chief Secretary and Director General of Police, maintained Thoibi.
