CCpur, October 24 2015 :
The funeral of 88-year-old Rev Dr Rochunga Pudaite was held today at Sielmat Christian Higher Secondary School here with family, friends, Christian priests and people from all walks of life turning up in large number to bid farewell to one of the most revered and well known Christian minister not just in the country but through-out the world.
Friends and family today bade adieu to the man who, with a humble beginning, ended up founding an NGO that delivers millions of Bible across the globe.

Stories and fond memories of the man who left behind the ministry he so loved and millions upon millions of lives he helped transform through the power of the Gospel, have been shared and narrated but none could possibly perfect the story as the highly accomplished minister's life was.
Yet, the large crowd turn-up at the funeral programme was telling enough that he was no ordinary minister and precisely reflected the outpouring of emotions from the public.
He was laid to rest in the evening at the PMS Bungalow with a traditional gun salute, a befitting honour and a Christian burial ritual.
Meanwhile, it is learn that 'Bibles for the World' has established Rochunga Pudaite Memorial Fund to help perpetuate Dr Ro's priorities, including distribution of God's word across the globe, health-care and education for people in poverty, training for Christian leaders, and expansion of God's Kingdom through Church planting.
