New Delhi, October 17 2014 :
A 24-year-old girl from Mizoram was found allegedly murdered inside her residence in south Delhi's Munirka area here last night.
The girl's male partner, Virender Singh, with whom she has been staying at the house for the last couple of months, is the prime suspect in the case as he has been untraceable since the time the incident came to light, police said.
"The victim, identified as Juliet was found lying in a pool of blood by her neighbours late last night.
She was rushed to Safdarjung Hospital where she was declared brought dead.
Her body bore serious head injuries and stab wounds on her abdomen," said a senior police official.
Police said Juliet had come to Delhi around five years ago.
She was currently working at a call centre.
She had been staying at a rented accommodation in Munirka since the last couple of months with Virender Singh, who was preparing for the civil services exam.
