Dr Harsh Vardhan predicts BJP victory

Union Science and Technology Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan has claimed that he can see certain developments which are indicative of BJP's victory in the next Assembly election of Manipur.
The visiting Minister was accorded a warm reception at BJP Manipur Pradesh office this evening.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Harsh Vardhan stated that the Union Government would take up a slew of new measures for promotion of science and technology in the North East region including Manipur in consultation with the respective State Governments.
Stating that he has already talked with Prime Minister Narendra Modi over telephone, Dr Harsh Vardhan claimed that the Union Government has taken up several measures for upliftment of all backward States.

Noting that the State's road infrastructure are still pathetic, he informed that the Government of India has also initiated several programmes exclusively for the North East region.
While observing that presence of science centres in each and every district of Manipur is necessary for development of science and technology in the State, Dr Harsh Vardhan asserted that good governance is the key to development and progress.
He also invited suggestions and proposals from the people of Manipur if they have any specific aspiration which can be fulfilled by his Ministry.
The new Government led by Narendra Modi has been working hard to uplift the whole country to new heights of development.
The Government is deadly opposed to corruption and all kinds of graft practices, he claimed.
He stated that Manipur can reap rich dividends by investing in sustainable exploitation of bio-resources found within the State.
Capitalising on the official visit, BJP Manipur Pradesh president Th Chaoba submitted a memorandum to Dr Harsh Vardhan.
The memorandum appealed for establishment of bio-technology park, upgradation of the Takyelpat Science Centre, opening of cancer detection and treatment centre and upgradation of STPI and IT Park.
Chaoba too claimed that there are strong chances of BJP's landslide victory in the next State Assembly election.
