In a day of tragedies, three killed in CCpur

Tragedy struck citizens here as three people, two-teenagers and a man, were killed in unrelated incidents today.
A daily labourer identified as Khamkhanpiang, 35, son of Ginzanang of Tangnuam was just starting his day's work at a construction site at New Lamka when an iron-bar he was handling accidentally hit a high-tension wire, killing him instantly, sources said.
His body was claimed by the family after an autopsy was conducted at the district hospital here.
In another incident, the lifeless bodies of two-teenagers, Dalsangluai, 18, son of Ginkhenpau of Bungmual village and Paukhanthang, 19, son of K Dongzalam of New Lamka (D) were retrieved near the Khuga dam early today.
The duo, who sources said, was part of a football team that have been to Lamjang village to play at a tournament there were taking a dip at the dam waters after playing their day's match when they met the tragedy.
