Chandel, August 06 2016 :
Vehicular movement along the Imphal-Moreh section of National Highway 102 came to a grinding halt today due to the indefinite bandh imposed by the JAC against the murder of M Lamneikim Haokip.
The JAC against the murder of M Lamneikim Haokip imposed the indefinite bandh along the section of Imphal-Moreh road with effect from last mid-night in protest against the failure of the State Government to nab and book the culprits involved in the crime.
Since early this morning, bandh supporters enforced the bandh by piling woods and burning tyre on the road at H Kotlenphai village.
They also prohibited movement of vehicles along the section of the National Highway.
