Edn Minister urges all not to disturb Catholic schools

Education Minister Th Radheshyam has appealed to all concerned not to impose any ban on Catholic schools in the State.
Speaking to media persons at his Secretariat office this evening, Th Radheshyam said that the Catholic School Society has been giving formal education to around one lakh students of the State through 72 schools, 17 higher secondary schools and three colleges.
Appealing to all concerned to make education a disturbance-free zone, the Minister assured that the State Government would provide adequate security.
He also appealed to all parents and school van service associations to send and take students to schools.
Radheshyam further appealed to all groups to stop seeking quota at Catholic schools at the time of admissions.
Principal Secretary (School Education) Vineet Joshi and Director Th Kirankumar were also present at the press meet.
