Prithviraj calls for unity

Concerned about the state integrity, Parliamentary Secretary, M Prithviraj today said that some narrow-minded politicians have been trying to gain political mileage by disturbing the harmony and peaceful co-existence among the various communities in Manipur.
Instead of demanding separation from the state, it would be better to do for Manipur as a whole.
Speaking at the inaugural function of 5-day long 'state level integration camp on youth for community harmony & peace' organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan at Government Dance College, Palace Compound on Monday, Prithviraj said, "Manipur does not belongs to any particular community.
She embraces all the communities and we all are one" .
In her key note address, Jackie Ruivah, Zonal Director of NYKS, Imphal mentioned that a total number of 115 youths from 15 communities are participating in the camp.
which is being organized with the main objective of inculcating the feeling of unity and communal harmony among the youths.
Chairperson of Manipur State Commission for Protection of Child Rights A Nabachandra Singh presided over the function during which youths from various communities presented their respective cultural dances and songs.
