Soniya Sorensangbam Sri Lanka bound

Senior staff reporter of Poknapham daily, Soniya Sorensangbam is one of the two-member delegation of Indian Journalists Union (IJU) chosen to attend a three-day 'Digital Campaign Skills' training programme to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from July 26 to 28, 2015 .
According to a IJU press release, the programme is being organised by the South Asia Media Solidarity Network (SAMSN) of International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) .
The two-day training is aimed at providing direction and strategy in the design of digital campaign for national and sub-regional campaigns across the SAMSN network.
The training will be preceded by the SAMSN gender networking meeting.
The training programme is being supported under the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) South Asia Media Freedom for Democracy Project, with the support of the UNDEF.
The training will be conducted by the IFJ South Asia Coordinator, Ujwal Acharya.
Ajeyi Babu Kuna (Hyderabad), a member of Telangana State Union of Working Journalists (TUWJ), working as News Editor in Mana Telangana Telugu daily newspaper is another member to represent IJU.
