CorCom mourns demise of PREPAK leaders

The proscribed Coordination Committee (CorCom) has extended revolutionary salute to three PREPAK leaders who lost their lives in a road mishap that reportedly occurred inside in a thick forest on May 23 evening.
According a CorCom statement, acting chairman of PREPAK Khumujam Ratan alias Sathy alias Hera alias Awangba Meitei (58) of Sing-jamei Chinga Makha Sorokhaibam Leikai, organisation secretary Mayengbam Joychand alias Joy Luwang alias Chamba alias Michael of Singjamei Mayengbam Leikai and GSO-1 RK Ramananda alias Basan alias Rozer of Sagolband Bijoy Govinda died in the road accident.
The CorCom statement issued by its publicity committee recalled that PREPAK's acting chairman Khumujam Ratan alias Sathy was a permanent member of the outfit to the conglomerate organisation since 2011 and also served as publicity committee convener for one term in 2017-18.Ratan also served as treasurer of CorCom from June, 2018 till the time of his death, the statement said, adding that deceased PREPAK organisation secretary Michael Luwang was permanent member of CorCom's sub-committee, Home Committee.
Both of them shouldered immense responsibility towards making revolutionary movement to move forward, the CorCom statement added.
The deceased revolutionary leaders not only fought for the liberation of Manipur and its people subjugated by India for a long time without any tiredness till their last breath but also instilled courage among revolutionaries.
These leaders not only propagated the thought of unity among revolutionary groups so as to become free from subjugation of alien rule but also developed unity among revolutionary groups.
The untimely demise of the three leaders will not only be a great loss for the revolutionary movement of Manipur but would also leave a huge vacuum in CorCom's activities, the statement said and shared pain and grief of the deceased leaders families, friends and relatives.
