Yaiskul AC: RK Suraj 'armless', Brinda poorest

Imphal, February 10 2022:
With the exception of Shiv Sena candidate RK Suraj, four other candidates for the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election in Yaiskul assembly constituency in Imphal West district possess licence arms.
As per affidavits submitted by the candidates, BJP candidate Y Satyabrata possesses one 9mm pistol while JDU candidate Th Brinda has one revolver and one SBBL gun used by her family.
INC candidate Ningombam Helendro too mentioned in his affidavit that he possesses one NPB pistol while NPP candidate Huidrom Vikramjit is in possession of one .32 bore pistol, one 7.63mm pistol and one .12 double barrel gun.
Among the five candidates in the constituency, JDU candidate Th Brinda is poorest as per information furnished in her affidavit.
She has Rs 20,000 in cash and Rs 58,855 in three different bank accounts.
As for movable assets, Th Brinda has one Hyundai i20 car, one Hyundai Creta car, one Maruti Suzuki, 22 'Mohor' of gold, one revolver and one SBBL gun.
She also mentioned liability of Rs 1,01,639 for procuring a car on loan.
On the other hand, NPP candidate H Vikramjit is the richest amongst the five candidates.
As per his affidavit, Vikramjit has Rs 2,75,650 in cash and Rs 1,98,96,832.63 as total movable assets including cash in banks and immovable assets worth Rs 4,38,80,000 .
His wife has movable assets worth Rs 74,09,649.94 and immovable assets of Rs 4,20,64,000 .
As per his affidavit, BJP candidate Th Satyabrata has Rs 27,000 in cash and Rs 10,53,174 in different bank accounts.
He has total movable assets worth Rs 21,15,214.67 and immovable assets worth Rs 43,00,000 .
INC candidate Ningombam Helendro has a total of Rs 2,13,410 in cash, movable assets worth Rs 7,43,756 and immovable assets worth Rs 85,24,500.Shiv Sena candidate RK Suraj has Rs 3,10,600 in cash, movable assets worth Rs 21,92,824 and immovable assets worth Rs 44,05,980 as per his affidavit.
