Imphal, September 28 2013 :
/IMPHAL, Sept 28: The use of the term 'Kuki language' in the soon to be launched e-Bible has irked the Thadou Students Association (TSA) Imphal unit.
It has strongly condemned the introduction of e-Bible using the term 'Kuki language' to be launched in a few days' time.
Since the recognition of Thadou dialect by the government of India in 1956, people have been using and speaking Thadou, said TSA.
The students' body said it does appreciate the effort to upbring an e-Bible but the use of the term Kuki as a language will tarnish its own image and mislead people into confusion as it has not been recognized by the government, said TSA, Imphal unit.
Further, the TSA stated that the association will continue to work in its true spirit of liberty, equality and fraternity to guide its people well.
