Imphal, November 22 2017:
All Manipur Ad Hoc Teachers' Association (502 Candidate Special DPC Completed) has threatened to take up various forms of agitation in case the Government fails to declare results of the Special DPC held in 2016 for the ad hoc teachers by December 5 .
Addressing a press meet held at Manipur Press Club today, convenor of the association, R Koireng said that 502 ad hoc teachers in the State have been discharging duty despite hardships for the last 20 years.
He said that a Special DPC for the ad hoc teachers was held on December 30 and 31, 2016 but the DPC results could not be declared due to the imposition of the model code of conduct for the last general election.
He claimed that the Department of Personnel in an order issued on December 9, 2016 and the Finance Department in an order issued on December 10, 2016 had recognised them as full fledged Government servants.
