Why should he not be honoured? said Dr.Ng Bojoy, MLA of Khurai Kendra at the inaugural function of a community hall at Kongpal Sajor Leikai.
As a drafting committee member of the ILP bill which will be drafted soon, every possible way will be made to make it faster, said the MLA.
While saying that education minister M Okendro has been doing his best to reopen all educational institutes, the MLA hoped that normal situation will come soon in the state.
Meanwhile, Manipur Loumee Marup has demanded State Govt.to immediately pass the bill which would protect and safeguard the indigenous communities of Manipur.
Manipur People's Party, Youth Front has condoled the death of Robinhood and asked the state govt.for its reason to keep mum on the killing of a student and injuring many others.
While saying that there is no one to be afraid of while trying to protect the indigenous peoples by passing a bill, the Front also demanded an immediate solution.
Meanwhile, Khonghampat Awang Leikai Meira Paibi Lup has donated Rs.5000 to Robnhood's family and Rs.3000 to the injured H Reson who is undergoing treatment at RIMS.
Amudon Nupi Phurup, Bijoy Govinda Akham Leikai also donated Rs.5000 and Rs.2000 to Robinhood's family and injured person who is undergoing treatment at RIMS respectively.
Khundrakpam Santi RakhaMarupalso donated Rs.4000 to the parents of late Robinhood and vowed to support the ongoing ILP movement.
Muslims communities of Andro Kendra, Imphal East on Wednesday staged sit-in protest and formed human chain at Yairipok Azad Bazar demanding implementation of ILP in Manipur and punishment of police personnel who killed Sapam Robinhood.
Students of Azad High School, Antartic English School and Model Kids Centre also participated in the sit-in protest.
Sit-in protest and a mass rally was organized by Meira Paibis, clubs and organisations of Tenthaon Wednesday.
Students of United English School,Oxford English School and Model English School also participated in the sit-in protest.
Students of Waikhom Mani Girls College Thoubal also supported the ongoing the ILP movement by forming human chain in front of the college gate along the Imphal-Moreh road.
Nongangkhong MeiraPaibi also staged a sit-in protest at Thoubal Ningthou Lai Haraobung supporting the demand of ILP implementation in Manipur.
While condemning the killing of SapamRobinhood, students of Pole Stars School Wabagaialso formed human chain at the school gate supporting the ongoing ILP movement.
