Students visit INA museum

Imphal, October 21 2018:
An excursion tour was organised by the Thoubal Battalion of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) comprising of twenty four school children from Thoubal District.
These were the same students who visited Delhi and Pune as part of the National Integration Tour (NIT).
The trip was organised based on the desire expressed by the school children during their interaction with the President of India at Delhi during the NIT, said a statement of PRO IGAR (South) today.
The school children as part of the excursion tour visited INA museum, Sendra Bio-diversity Park and Loktak Lake.
The students and their parents expressed gratitude to the Assam Rifles for providing them an exposure to important historical and cultural sites of Manipur which they could not visit before despite being in the same State, said the statement.
