In a statement, NEUREF information secretary G Amui Newmai said the North East Region is dreaming for development in the light of Act East Policy.
However, States in the region have been denied direct foreign investment.
The organization had already appealed to the Central Government for converting this modality of foreign investment policy into action.

The unemployment is a major issue in the North East region.
Creation of more jobs with the help of foreign investment is the need of the hour.
