Kisan Diwas programme held

Bishnupur, September 07 2019: Kisan Diwas 2019 organized by BKS Bishnupur under Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Manipur Prant was held at Oinam Public Hall in Bishnupur District today.

The programme was attended by Director of Instruction, Central Agricultural University, Dr S Basanta Singh; Gho Seva Manipur, Dr S Kulachandra Singh; President BKS Manipur Prant, N Indubhuson Singh and Presdient BKS Bishnupur District, L Budhachandra Singh as dignitaries.

The function began with the hoisting of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh's flag followed by floral tributes and respect paid to picture of God Balaram, Bharat Mata and Thengdiji.

Speaking at the occasion, Secy Bharatiya Kishan Sangh, Bishnupur District Branch, Soraisham Irabot Singh said that the aspiration of farmers is to produce adequate agriculture products so that our society become self-sufficient which requires close attention from the relevant Dept and State Govt so that their welfare policy and programme reach to the intended farmers/individuals adding that the farmers also need to utilise the Govt's sanctioned items in a proper way to produce sufficient yields.
