CPI condemns

Communist Party of India Manipur State Council (CPI MSC) condemned the death of 38 innocent civilians in Myanmar who were protesting against the military takeover of the Government on March 3.The Aung San Suu Kyi led National League for Democracy had a landslide victory in the recently concluded Myanmar general election and were preparing to form Government when the military coup happened on February 1 and all the elected MPs has been jailed with Aung San Suu Kyi being held up at an undisclosed location, said a statement issued by CPI MSC.
CPI also said they condemned the Military junta in Myanmar and express the need for it to be condemned strongly by the Indian government.
