Imphal, December 03 2013:
The Korean's Pop rock band 'Biuret'' enthralled and captivated Imphalites on its maiden performance at the Yaiskul Athletics Ground here tonight.
The band's Song writer, Guitarist and Lead Vocal Hye Won Moon stole the show with her explosive performance to a sizeable and responsive crowd with their original 'falling star' .
Interestingly, with lead guitarist Lee Gyo Won aka Happy Jackson's pronouncement such as chak charabro, nungairibro, leishabi, nungshiye in Meiteilon, the Korean band got the crowd screaming.
Braving the chilly December wind, they showed the audience just what Korean rock music was about with Bassist Jai Hyun Ahn.
As the first act was up, they did an amazing job getting the crowd fired up and wanting more when they rendered Swedish pop group ABBA's cover Dancing Queen, a hit in seventies.
Their energy was infectious and this fire quickly spread among the crowd with another ever green track 'Lady Marmalade' made famous by the all-girl's group, Labelle.
In fact, Biuret had so much presence on stage as they have attended music classes before they formed the band nine years back.
Their music filled up the YAC ground which is popularly known as Yaikul range as they showed off their skills, talents and lived up to their good reputation by belting out their originals numbers 'Lie', 'Fly my voice', 'Do you wanna get me', 'Violet', and the ever popular 'Mama'.
To Biuret's Lead Vocal Hye Won Moon, their original 'Mama' tries to spread the message of forgiveness particularly among the people in the region.
As expected earlier, Korean band also had a positive response during the show which was held to commemorate the 40th years of Korea-India Diplomatic relations as Korean wave is extremely popular here in the Manipur.
The band which had performed at Purana Qilla in New Delhi on November 29, Hornbill fest in Nagaland on December 1 followed by Maram (Manipur) show on the following day, will be flying back to their country via New Delhi tomorrow.
