Thoubal, March 30 2020:
Convenor of United Committee Changamdabi has refuted the allegations levelled against former Forest Minister, Th Shyamkumar and his nominee in connection with the exploitation of rice quota of the Andro Assembly Constituency on media by some clubs/organisations.
He claimed that the charges were "baseless and politically motivated".
Imran Khan said that the charges made by Md Ayub who claims to be a secretary of the Changamdabi Development Club that the former MLA and his nominee swindled rice meant for NFSA beneficiaries are false and aimed at tarnishing the image of the former local MLA.
Imran Khan also appealed all to refrain from such misleading and unfounded charges and further warned to take the matter to the Court if such thing repeats in future.
