Dimapur, February 26 2015:
NSCN (K) expressed its dismay with the alleged "constant offensive operations" launched by Assam Rifles (AR) against the outfit's "unarmed cadres" posted in various towns and "kidnappings of several unarmed cadres" who are on leave for medical treatment.
In a statement, NSCN (K) while terming the action as "daily routine", said the flagrant violations of the ground rules by AR threaten the existence of cease-fire and undermined any scope for political process to progress.
NSCN (K) stated henceforth the group will "resort to equal retaliation" in the event of any such provocation and Indian Army will be held accountable.
The outfit also said that while taking cognizance of the "insensitive attitude and actions of Indian Army", NSCN (K) directs "Naga Army" personnel to initiate defensive armed offensive to face such "attacks by Indian Army with immediate effect" .
