Youth exhorted to join politics for new Manipur

Ningthoujam Nongpoknganba, who has been appointed as national general secretary of BJP Yuva Morcha, has said that youth need to join politics to bring about a new Manipur under the New India vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing a press meet after being appointed to the party's key post, Nongpoknganba said that youth are at the forefront of making a powerful India in the global platform.
PM Modi is working towards building a new India and it is time for the youth of the state to join politics and work for a new Manipur while serving the people of the state.
There is no dearth of talented youth in the state and they must come forward to bring development in the state, he said.
He then thanked the party's central leadership for entrusting him with the responsibility, and for appointing A Sharda Devi as the party's first woman state president and also for appointing Dr RK Ranjan as minister of state in two key ministries.
He assured that he will put his best efforts for strengthening the party and will also help potential youth in fighting election.
BJP vice-president P Somorjit said that Nongpoknganba's new role as national general secretary of BJP Yuva Morcha will significantly help in increasing the party's youth strength in the state.
He also assured of full support from the party towards the activities of the Yuva Morcha.
