Rotary Club provide aid to Old Age homes

Imphal, October 29 2014:
Members of District Governor's official and Rotary Club of Imphal visited Old Age Home and B.B.Paul Mental Development Home situated at Mongsangei, today.
During the visit organized by Rotary Club of Imphal, Rotary International District 3240, essential commodities including edible items, blanket and cash money were donated by the visiting members to the aged old people residing in the homes.
Keisham Binodkumar Singh, Rtn president, Rotary Club of Imphal has assured to provide a truck load of bricks for construction of the Old Age Home.
An amount of Rs.15,000, Charcoal and heaters were donated during the visit.

Ibomcha alias Amuthoi who is also a member of Rotary Club of Imphal also gave assurance to provide 50 cement bags for the construction of the home as well.
Further, Keisham Binodkumar who visited at B.B.Paul Mental Development Home expressed that, under the Ratoary Club Project, providing help to destitute and disabled persons has been going on every year and extending help to such people will go on, he added.
According to Dev Kumar Thoudam, secretary, apart from providing assistance, free heart surgery to 145 persons were conducted under Heart to Heart Project and such free heart surgery will continue upto second week of November this year, he said.
