Prices of essential goods reviewed

Imphal, November 28 2011:
The existing prices of essential commodities at Imphal market have been reviewed during a joint meeting with the representatives of Imphal Bazar Business Community in the office chamber of Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution on November 26 .
Accordingly, the price of Potato has come down from Rs 1,800 per quintal to Rs 1,400 per quintal, Onion from Rs 2,800 per quintal to Rs 2,600 per quintal, Mattar from Rs 3,600 per quintal to Rs 3,500 per quintal, Mattar Dal (Kantak) from Rs 3,900 per quintal to Rs 3,700 per quintal, Masur Dal from Rs 5,100 per quintal to Rs 5,000 per quintal, Ahar Dal from Rs 6,000 per quintal to Rs 5,800 per quintal, Atta from Rs 950 per 45 kg to Rs 925 per 45 kg, Maida from Rs 1,000 per 45 kg to Rs 975 per 45 kg and Rice (Super) from Rs 630 per 50 kg bag to Rs 600 per 50 kg bag but the price of Sugar has been increased from Rs 3,300 per quintal to Rs 3,600 per quintal.
