ZSF for prioritising learning activities

Zomi Students' Federation (ZSF) suggested that learning activities for students should, be prioritised by all educational institutions and urged the district administration and the department to create conducive environment to facilitate continuation of school activities.
"Students being the future of our society, the way we impart education, or lack of it, today will not only mould them individually, but it will also decisively shape our future as a community and nation.
Therefore, it is the desire of the Federation that government, aided and private educational institutions should make it a priority to educate and train our students despite the trying circumstances.
And the district administration and departments concerned are also expected to endeavour for, and administratively create conducive environment to facilitate continuation of education and learning activities for the students," the Zomi student body said in a release.
The Federation further said that it is closely monitoring all educational institutions, their functioning and activities, within its operational areas, adding, "All individuals, groups or organisations are requested to refrain from activities that may interrupt students in the pursuit of their regular education, and the Federation shall not be a mere spectator to such disruptive activities, if any".
It then appealed to all communities and organisations to cooperate and support its endeavour in the interest ind for the welfare of the student community.
