Hentak Fest concludes

The Hentak Festival which started on January 20 at Thingel Leikai has concluded today.
The closing day of the festival which aimed at promoting indigenous food saw a Hiyang Tanaba competition in Khuga river.
During the festival, the organisers said that the stalls earned a revenue of about Rs 4 lakh.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Anouba Mangal proprietor Ph Dhanabir said that the festival was organised to promote indigenous food and generate employment for youth (entrepreneurship).
He also said that Anouba Mangal is promoting indigenous foods, handloom and handicraft products thereby giving jobs to women and youths.
Promoting tourism industry will boost the economy of the State and generate employment for youth, he said.
