Executive meeting held

Imphal, February 23 2021:
Communist Party of India, Manipur State Council (CPI-MSC) convened an executive meeting today and discussed issues and political situations prevailing in the State.
In a statement, CPI-MSC said that the Left party is concerned by the characters of people doing politics these days in the State as well as in other parts of the country and added that electoral reform is crucial.
The Left party continued that human society is breaking down gradually as many immoral people in the political circle see electors as an asset.
CPI will soon start an education channel to impart political education to people, particularly youth who have an interest in politics, it added.
The gathering also resolved to urge the Government to open schools completely in the State and find an amicable solution for the cease work strike of college teachers.
The CPI will press the Government to check the ever-increasing fuel prices.
