Food Safety Training held at Thoubal

Thoubal, January 21 2021:
Under the supervision of district administration Thoubal, Food Safety Administration Thoubal District organised a food safety training cum certification programme at the complex of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Thoubal.
The programme was conducted especially for food business operators and service providers under the theme 'Eat Right Challenge' .
Food Safety Thoubal, Designed Officer N Debendro Singh; State Food Analyst, Ch Sanajaoba Meitei and CMO Thoubal Dr N Jayantakumar were the dais members of the function.
Intellisome Knowledge and Skill Center (IKOSC) Moirangkhom, M Tech (Food Engineering), Laishram Basantarani, Alex Sharungbam, Bishwajit Singh and FOSTAC Nodal Officer, Sougaijam Surendro Singh were the spokespersons.
At the event, N Debendro Singh said that 4 districts from the State were selected for participation in the "Eat Right Challenge" campaign.
Altogether 150 cities were selected for the campaign from across the country.
He then appealed to the people of Thoubal to work hard for the district to bag the 1st position of the campaign.
During the programme, food safety licenses were also distributed to select food operators.
