First Kuki IAF Officer passes away

Kanggui, July 18 2013:
A retired Wing Commander of Indian Air Force and an Ex-member of Manipur Public Service Commission, Govt.of Manipur Lamkhohen Misao, fondly called "Koko" meaning elder brother in Burmese language, passed away yesterday evening.
Lamkhohen Misao breathed his last Shija Hospital leaving behind his wife Neijalam Misao, 3 daughters, one son, one grand-son and a son-in-law at around 7:05 pm yesterday after a prolonged illness.
Late.
Lamkhohen Misao was the first Indian Air Force Officer from among Kuki community.
His burial ceremony was conducted today at his home town Kangpokpi where the local MLA Nemcha Kipgen, Ex-MLA Thangminlen Kipgen, Haokholal Hangshing, Chairman ADC Sadar Hills, Kuki Inpi New Delhi and many other dignitaries and civil organization attended.
