Mt Pisgah College Evangelical Union celebrates

Evangelical Union of the Mt Pisgah College, Senapati observed decadal celebration under the theme- 'The memory of God's abundant goodness' .
At the event, Dr P Wungnaongam, Principal, Mt Pisgah College encouraged the students and advised them to love God and reflect on their actions to grow into responsible citizens.
Talking about the origin of the Evangelical Union of the college, SP Joseph Asa, former president of the union stated that the Evangelical Union Ministry is behind the colleges success and development.
With the 'selfless sacrifices' made by H Liba Chao, the then Principal of the college and (L) Dr K Daikho, the Evangelical Union in the college, rooted in the teachings of Christ was established and the foundation stone was laid in 2009 by adopting the vision and mission of the Union of Evangelical Students of India (UESI).
Ng Adam Poumai, founder and the first Principal of the college stated that it was the Lord who helped the 'weak' students come this far.
He encouraged students with stories great personalities who grew up poor and deprived.
Nehemiah Rong, secretary, Executive Committee, UESI, Manipur said that many students are being nurtured as disciples of Christ by the union.
"God is good in all that He is and does," said Jackson Siipunii, Lecturer, Manipur Theological College.
He then talked about different ways how God has been good in one's life encouraging students to do good and be good.
Special songs and Gospel choreographies presented by students marked the event.
